Cathodoluminescence Microscope

A hot-cathode CL microscope (lumic HC5-LM) with a high sensitivity CCD Kappa PS 4 / 40 camera

• For using this microscope you will need petrographic thin sections (ca. 28 x 48 mm).
• Normal thickness will work, but for better image quality a thickness of less than 25 μm is recommended.
• The thin sections used for CL need a coating of carbon or gold as conductive layer.
